Once we get cooler here for longer than a couple of days I will take it back up. I know i have the voltage a bit to high but I will tweak that then too. Those 762x units where crashing it to easy so I over compinsated. He is at 65 now and only lost about 2k PPD. Maybe we will look into putting one of DWoods AIO WC brackets on it with a 120mm unit.
I'd look at bigger than a 120 radiator.
I went a bit overkill on my TC folding rig, 360+240 radiator for cooling my GTX580 for the TC, and an idle CPU, but the setup keeps my GPU below 45ºC, even when it gets up to 33ºC during the day in room it is in.
Clearly you don't really "need" go go as overboard as I did, but if you can keep the GPU below 50ºC, ideally below 45ºC, it really helps with stability at high clock speeds, with maxed out voltage.
I flashed a modified BIOS onto my card so I can go over the stock voltage limit. 975mhz @1.175v really cranks out the heat. Edited by Caleal - 10/4/12 at 4:01pm
