Dang bro, hate to hear that. Hopefully that won't hurt us too bad. We're ahead by a bit but you are the biggest PPD member, lol. Keep us posted bro!

(Wow, blown the whole outlet! That sounds like something that would happen to me, LOL)

That's what it looks like. I had my son run an extension cord to one of the upstairs outlets, which worked. But since I only have a power switch (homemade tech stations) on one of the 980's, my son was only able to turn on one machine (which is not the one folding for us).

Pain in the butt. Oh well, got some work to do when I get home.

No this is completely unacceptable man... I am the only one on this team that is allowed to have just down right horrible bad luck. You need to tell your son to go down stairs and inform the power outlet about this and it should start working again. . I'm really sorry to hear about this. I was told by a guy on another thread about the Asus RMA process doing the same thing to him but he got 2 bad boards sent to him. He said that some people are able to milk an upgrade out of Asus so with a little bit of sucking up and luck, I might be able to "milk" a Asus Rampage Extreme III out of them and since I don't have the original it would be a new retail version with all of the accessories and everything =D Wish me luck guys (because with my unimaginable amount of bad luck lately we all know that I'm going to need it)

Have an electrician come by and install a high output set of plugs in for your so that you will be able to run everything without blowing the breaker or plug out. I know I'm going to have to do that soon if I want to be able to run a 1500w power supply soon to power all of the GTX 480's I want (but probably wont get until early next year lol)

No word on my GTX 480 yet but as the only shipping that I could afford to EVGA was through USPS as Parcel Post so I don't expect to get it until maybe Friday =( ... As for my Asus P6X58D Premium Motherboard, I received my new (refurbished board) from Asus for my RMA and I went from having Memory issues to having a broken Usb port, My SATA III controller isn't finding my SSD, and I'm still having stability issues ><.... I am going to call Asus first thing tomorrow and talk to the RMA depatrment because someone on here in a different thread told me that they had a similar problem with an RMA and so have some others and that he got a brand new board and some of the others got upgraded to a better board.... I WANT A RAMPAGE III EXTREME... so hopefully I can sweet talk them into getting me one =D and if all goes well then I will be able to have it before the new fermi gets here (God I hope that it at least is a good card ... Knock on wood)

Dude the place I live was built on a old munitions depot so if anyone digs (even the kids) they are liable to blow an arm (or themselves and whomever is around them) off. So you tell me man.... do you think that the government, who contracts out to the lowest bidder, really did anything right when they built these houses? I think not. I'm about ready to have an electrician come out and wire up a high amperage socket (or 2 or 3 or 4) by my computer so that I can run a 1500w PSU and not worry about blowing fuses here. I'm running out of pennies to put in the fuse box ... I joke guys (only joking about the penny thing), this place isn't that old lol.
