kn8 sli Amd x2 4400 lag

with my current setup no overclocking stock settings im getting major lag like when i open programs and multitask i have windows xp 32bit i have bios # 15.could something be set wrong in my bios thats causeing this problem?thanks for any help

probably not, maybe theres something wrong with ur RAM, try running memtest86

just for the heck of it, try and reset ur bios too before u run the memtest. see if that works.

cant get memtest to boot from cd it says boot from cd and i hit a key and it just boots me into windows like normal any suggestions?
