Im plaining on getting the 1900 xt but i still want to use my x800xl on my other computer.

Is there Anyway i can make it faster ? i got Ati tool and oc'd it from 400/500 to 430/520 but can i get some modified bios for it or something in that sense to make it run faster?----anything i can do other than oc'ing?

Watercool it, you might be able to get a little more out but I'm not really sure

The only thing else is to put a TEC on it to get it practically frozen

Water cool an X800 XL? Itd be a lost cause.

The X800 XL cores won't get past 450mhz or so, and usually crap out around 430mhz like yours. Its not that they over heat, they actually run fairly cool, just the cores early 110nm limitations.

So that leaves only the memory to be overclocked to get any decent performance out of it, which can't be water cooled.

Just OC it on air as far as you can, and thats the most you can get out of it. Flashing any type of BIOs can't do anything for it.

Performance is pretty good though, enough for most games at least.

See how there are omega drivers for ATi cards, they are faster than conditional ATi Drivers. Is there Bios for X800 xl that are like the omega driver?

IF not how can i get a bios and flash my x800xl.

Well I'd ask to see some proof on the improve performance with Omeage drivers.

In my experience, Omega drivers used to make a tiny bit of a difference, but now the Catalayst drivers are not only faster and updated more regularly, but layed out better and less buggy.

But yea, BIOs just change the cards specs, clock speeds and such.

Theres nothing you can do to increase an X800 XL's performance other then overclocking.
