Alright, then in other words: try different clock speeds. Try some that might make you think that you know it'll fail. After all, how was I to know that downclocking from 825 to 810 would give me non-stop BSODs? As I said before, either 810 is a hole/weak spot, or the 810/1785 combination is highly unstable!

I'm using my experience as an example or a guide for you.

I am sad, I think one of my fans has a bad bearing. Going to contact MSI to see if they can send me a new fan. I really don't want to RMA the card.

I had that problem at first, but now i think after using it for a bit, it's fine now...

be right back, ill open up my case and check again

edit: it only makes the sound for a split second when i jump straight to 80-100 from 35% or so. I don't think it's noticeable if the fan goes to any percent on auto for me as it doesn't make such a big jump unless i set it to do so

Nah is pretty noticeable sadly. I was already thinking of how to get real 80mm fans on this card anyways. This just might accelerate my plans.

I made a post about that maybe 30 pages back

as for the fan, i took the card out and fiddled with the fan and it somehow got alot better. Or maybe the fan bearings "burned in" or whatever. Either way it is much better for me now.

Hi from #656 great forum still stock 465
Well I got the card (#1771) and successfully unlocked it! I'm using NCspecV81's modded BIOS without any overclocking; just running at the speeds the bios set. I've been running Metro 2033, Crysis, Stalker CoP and CS without any artifacts. Idle temps are at 41C and load is 76C in my room at 28C (AC is broke). I'm extremely impressed by how quiet and cool this card is and later I'll see how overclocking goes. Right now I'm just trying this monster out.
