Check out what the fan on the top card is doing in terms of the speed curve vs. the temp curve. It makes no sense, it's like it's just deciding to slowly ramp up to 100% ... for no apparent reason in terms of a corresponding temp hike.

I don't get it.

Anyone else who's switched to the TFII bios seeing unusual fan behavior vs they had going before on their cards? I really don't want my fans at 100% at only 79C, personally. Yesterday it didn't get up the 90% range until temps were in the 90's. That's how I want it. I'm not using any fan profile, btw, just auto ... that's how I like it.

That makes sense, the default fan profile is set to ramp up to 100% at 80c, so pretty much it does whatever it can to maintain that 80c.

Looks like I won't be able to get my second one back from RMA if they are completely out of stock everywhere. Sigh. Spoke with a Newegg agent and they said that if my item is no longer stocked, that I can pick a "comparable" item of the same price. Ha. The entire point of this card is that there is no comparison for the price. -_____________________-

Can you just ask for a refund if that's the case?

A refund would be $170 lol. They subtracted $59.99 for the stupid, completely worthless "Gift" of a SC2 trial and $30 restocking fee.

Newegg.ca didn't have the SC2 trial ;P

That is BS.

I would fight the SC2 charge. That is supposed to be a "gift" and not a chargeable item.

Newegg is better then that. Get a hold of a customer service rep and ask to speak to their manager.

The whole point for me was GTX 470 SLI but since one is going back for an RMA I'm probably on my way down sh%t creek. It kind of sucks, they'd probably offer the Twin Frozr II GTX 465 regular to replace it....
