That's what I've been running ever since he posted it up. I do find it a bit more stabler than the other bioses I've tried. But no difference in overclocks.

I've finished flashing! So now just for fun, I'm going to shoot for 800/1600/1674 and see how it does in OCCT since now I can't use EVGA OC Scanner!


Update: with the previous BIOS I was using, the stock clocks were 700/1400/1848. I had it overclocked to 765/1530/1848 using 1.100V, and it was very, very stable. But with this stock GTX 470 Twin Frozr II BIOS, even just 765/1530/1674 is unstable.

But I'm going to flash back to the other BIOS and see how that 765/1530/1848 overclock does in OCCT because I never tested it in OCCT - I only used EVGA OC Scanner.


Also, I want to point out that I started this test just now with a Shader Complexity of 8. I got a few single-pixel artifacts after about 5 seconds. But then I switched to a Shader Complexity of 4 and got massive artifacts instantly. So, I kept switching back and forth and I got these same results every single time. I am only pointing this out because OCCT says that using a higher value is not always better.

But I flashed back to it just because I hadn't tested it in OCCT; I had only tested it in EVGA OC Scanner. So far, I am not getting any different results in OCCT with Grunion's BIOS over the stock MSI 470 Twin Frozr II BIOS that NCspecV81 modified (raised the voltage cap).

So now I think I'm going to stick with this EVGA BIOS because I can use EVGA OC Scanner in addition to OCCT (I didn't like not being able to use it with that stock MSI 470 Twin Frozr II BIOS).
