Yes NCIX is selling them for 219.99, but its not online, its a door crasher at the grand opening in Ontario so unless you live close enough to make store opening with-in reasonable time its safe to say the deal isn't as good as it seems.

I am however in the GTA and will be lining up at the Markham store to purchase two of these badass cards!

On a final note mad props to the contributors to this thread, it is a goldmine of information, and I have enjoyed reading it over.

So my new card, #0304 in action. Threw a random 800/1600/2000 OC at it at 1.037V.

Running like a champ at 62C.

And after seeing this card in action, and hearing these fans... my old card (#0453) definitely wasn't working properly. I feel kinda bad for having to send it back, but I'm glad I have a solid card this time around.

***edit***

At 1.037V, I got up to 825/1650/2000 no prob. It didn't like 840/1680 though.

I bought one of these from NCIX a few days ago, but it didn't play nice with the GTX 470 BIOS, so I had to take it back.

It was number 1434

Now after wandering around the Greater Vancouver Region for 5 hours, I finally managed to get a replacement. Now I'm number 1900.

Here's the family:

One other question: What is the max recommended voltage for these cards by "stock" settings. 1.087?

Yes, that is technically the safe max voltage for by the GTX 470 standards, but even at those voltages, this monster cooler keeps the temperatures well below reasonable.

I can only imagine what this thing is actually capable of.

Been out of the game for a while, but it's pulled me right back in. Building a rig soon and saw these things selling fast. Read reviews and couldnt resist.

I've got #1881 in hand and waiting for another number (in transit) that's unfortunately going into an identical build for the wife.

Do i need a picture to be added to the OP's list??? Let me know. Thanks!

Haha indeed.

All I know that this card is capable of clocks higher than what the MSI Afterburner sliders allow for

It'd be nice if you could post one (we love seeing them), but they're not absolutely required.

We love graphics card pr0n.
