MSI GTX465 Twin Frozr II Golden Edition Owners Club - Page 298

Someone asked about cards RMA'd from this club, one of mine was RMA'd to Newegg. It was #0188, and it would successfully flash to a 470 but would not recognize any of the memory and artifacted everywhere. So if you see an OB 465GE on Newegg...

Also, where are cards #2000+?

That makes no sense. Did you personally take this picture?

I'd think it has to be shopped.

when you say it flashed was you able to install drivers? And when you mean artifacts do you mean rainbow colors all over the screen? I'm kinda curious b/c if you weren't able to install drivers successfully and had rainbows all over the screen thats a tale-tale sign of a gf100-030 core flashed to a gf100-275.

Yes, this is my card, was bought in early August, has 10 memory chips. I tried to flash EXP470.rom with - eraseeeprom but it is still seen as the gtx465 after drivers install, also tried 465Upgrade.exe with asus 465 bios, i think it cant be unlocked

How certain are you that it has 10ic's? I don't see any resistors on the two most right IC's, which indicate no IC's. Also where did you get it? I wouldn't put it past a switch-a-roo from a previous buyer/employee.

Yep, my fault, like I did not pay enough attention to detail, the card was bought in Moscow, Russia. I think it will be useful for statistics, thanks for the explanation
