MSI GTX465 Twin Frozr II Golden Edition Owners Club - Page 338

I just don't get why it would but as a secondary, but not as a main. My tiny brain hurts.

I may just order another one right now, but dang websites don't list their quantity and I'm sure everyone is off today.

Is there an MSI representative on this forum?

This is #5 on MSI's RMA.

"MSI reserves the rights to rejects any RMA returns that’s are been physical damaged, missing/bent pins, burn, cracked, or other damages due to abuse. "

I think I'm gonna get fooked both ways here.

this place does but they wont be in for ten days. I have never ordered from this company so I can't say on that note. But they do list quantity.

http://www.shopblt.com/cgi-bin/shop/...!#Availability

[edit] Regarding the MSI policy just tell them it came like that which it did and if they are @$$'s then get real loud and complain like hell telling them you will never buy MSI again and will move to EVGA or some other company!

This is when its in the second 16x slot. As you can see windows knows what it is. I'm guessing there is an "output" problem with this card.

This is post code 4E for X58 board when there's a problem. "4E Test base memory from 256K to 640K and extend memory above 1MB with various patterns"

Then during normal boot sequence 4E does this "Program MTTR of M1 CPU, Initialize L2 cache for P6 class CPU & program CPU with proper cacheable range, Initialize the APIC for P6 class CPU, On MP platform, adjust the cacheable range to smaller one in case the cacheable ranges between each CPU are not identical."

Another option is I can flash my mobo's bios. I currently have P07. P08 = Update Intel RC code to version 1.03.4 (????) P10 = Added support Gulftown CPU

I really don't want to go this route as I've only done it once and that was years ago and the bios chip on this board is soldered on.

MSi 465 GE is now $249.99 @ Microcenter, they dropped the price another $30!! It's their "build your own system" month so prices are good for two weeks. $249.99 is a steal for this thing so grab it while they last!

My 0474 card is f***ed . I got it to a stable clock of 800/1600. After that when I tried increasing memory frequency it began to artifact BAD. It was artifacting but still booting into windows, but now its progressively gotten worse to the point that it doesnt even boot into windows, and gets stuck at the "starting windows" screen with the glowing windows logo ... Now everytime no matter what bios or voltage I use its showing white lines all across the screen... I'm thinking I killed it Max voltage used was 1.1, and that was only after it first started to artifact at 1.087.

Oh well, gonna try another one I guess. Honestly if the second one sucks as well I'm just gonna grab a 460 Hawk and call it a day.

1. Do I go ahead and register the card? What if they do take it back?

2. Don't register the card and wait on their reply.

C. Wait for my second card to come in (hopefully wed) and try to re-flash this card.

4E. Cry like a little girl.
Let us all know how you make out with the Seller.

One of my cards came from ANTonline as well. Though i wont be building the PC until later next week or so. So i dont know how that card will or will not work out. But knowing before hand how the Seller reacts would be beneficial for me. Thanks!!

Nevermind. I scanned through store select options and found it.
