flashing a 465-470:
http://en.expreview.com/2010/07/11/g...65/7865.html/5

when flashing do just as cables said but I'd add a step. step 4.5: before you do --eraseeeprom run a back up of your own bios with -b 465.rom or whatever you want to call the file.

4.5: -b 465.rom

that file I gave you was a backup of my own bios which I did with this step.
also -9 is the same as --eraseeeprom if you don't want to spell it out.

here is the 470 twin frozr II bios if you want it:

Why didnt someone just point him toward the OP?? It's all right there for him.

I got #1932 @ 860/1700. I think that is ok for memory, and I can play darkest of days now! I hated my 5870!
pre-unlocked w/warranty still intact, this one runs cool and should settle in on a little higher clocks as time goes on. I get artifacts at anything too high on core/shader

I have #1596... unlocked and using the standard MSI GTX470 twin frozer ROM. Not overclocked yet.

Anyone have a "flickering" issue?

I have mine set at 800-1600-2000 @ 1.050V. On occasion while watching movies, the screen will do a single "flicker" where the picture cuts out for about 1/2 second and then comes right back. Over the course of a 2 hour movie, it'll do it maybe 2-3 times.

I've run Kombustor and what not for stability and all seems well, but I don't know how exactly to troubleshoot this particular issue. It's a bit random.

I re-formatted last Friday and it didn't fix the issue (reformatted for other reasons).

Just curious if anyone has any ideas/thoughts.

The only times I've had flicker was when the card wasn't getting enough voltage. Your voltage seems quite low for your clocks...

Ok. I've run Kombustor successfully and played TF2 without issue, but I'll bump to 1.065V or 1.087V to see if that resolves the issue.
