Hello everybody.

So, I have a MSI GTX465 Twin Frozr II GE №1126.
Board of card has 8-chips/1024. Is any chance to get 448 of CUDA cores?

I wasnt being stupid.. i wanted to know how you deduced the exact number 14. When i got to newegg i dont see a big fat 14 or even 13 for that matter anywhere on the screen.
To find out how many items Newegg has in stock for any item, just enter in a really high quantity (like 100, or 500, or 1000, etc.). This is because when a quantity is entered that exceeds the amount that they have in stock, the common result is that your quantity is changed to the exact amount that they have left in stock.

If you know for certain that it only has 8 memory chips (meaning, you already looked at the PCB), then it will not work with a GTX 470 BIOS. For these cards to work with a GTX 470's BIOS, they not only have to have all 10 memory chips on the PCB, but they also have to have a GTX 470 GPU on the board. A few of these do not meet these specifications and therefore will not accept a GTX 470's BIOS (they will not "unlock").

so since newegg has "reopened" their stock of GE's, who has ordered from then since then? i'd like to know if these are actually unlockable to 470's and/or decent overclocking capabilities or just RMA'd ones. it'd also help gauge the community on whether or not to purchase the GE vs the 460 if it isn't unlockable.

They just restocked two days ago, so how is it possible for someone to have received a card already?

You will have to wait until next week when people who just reordered get in their cards. There's no clear pattern or anything with these cards and which # unlocks, so really no way to tell unless you actually buy the card.

It's Newegg..they process within 1 hour most of the time and if you order overnight shipping it is more then feasible to have one by now. That being said, wait and see!

True... but anyone ordering the card already knows they're not getting the 'best' deal for a "possible" 470 so doubt anyone's overnighting. But regardless I agree with you. Have some patience someone will most likely post their results over the weekend. Alexlp already discovered his GE has only 8 memory chips..

Hey there. Did you get the card from a seller in the United States? Or was I bought locally in Poltava?
