well you need GPU-Z then take a screen capture of it hit the camera icon in corner. if you want a capture of your desktop you can use photoshop or one of the many apps out there. with photoshop you can hit the print screen button on keyboard then paste into a new document.

Nice performance boost spoolindsm127

Thanks moose I was inspired to post some hard evidence after seeing your post Although not anywhere near as clear and properly organized as your results but still, something worth looking at

Can't wait to see what # you get and how it performs . I also want a 2nd card SO bad, but the thought of whether or not I'll get a good overclocker deterred me a bit. And more importantly the cost of course. Don't know if you can get a better deal than $249.99+tax... But for now, I am too satisfied with this card, it totally rocks .

I used the capture function to take a screenshot, but I was thinking maybe a screen capture with kombustor or OCCT also running in the background to 'prove' it's stability? I figured just a GPU-Z capture might not 100% qualify as legitimate.

Have some patience someone will most likely post their results over the weekend. Alexlp already discovered his GE has only 8 memory chips..
I think he's guessing at the amount of memory chips due to GPU-Z showing 1024MB of memory. He hasn't attempted to flash it with a GTX 470 BIOS yet, so I'm hoping to be able to show him how to tell whether or not his card has 10 memory chips.

Why do people keep thinking that this is a bad deal. 250 is great but I look at it this way: the 470 twin frozr II on newegg is 349.99 and that's discounted, the 465 twin frozr II GE is 279.99 which is essentially the same card with a copper cooler. Yes you are taking a gamble and it might not unlock but that's the fun of it. Cause if it does unlock you saved $70 and have a copper cooler.

Agreed. If my mobo supported SLI without a hack, I would be running dual 465GE's right now. I even have the proper spacing for these in SLI because there would be an empty slot between the top and bottom card.

Ya I feel ya I'm gonna have to hack mine in order for it to work but on my mobo's forum people have had good success so I'm giving it a try.

Worst part of the whole thing is having to use old drivers and having no guarantee that newer drivers will ever work.
