From what I've read, you can flash them back, but all the stuff you unlocked stays unlocked so I don't know how the card will act. Will it act like a 465 that was never unlocked or will it act like a hybrid? Don't know. Don't care to try.

Thanks
SIR_DRIP
You have your terminology reversed. It's not the cards bottlenecking the CPU, it's the other way around. The GPU runs the game, makes requests of the CPU for data, and if the CPU can't keep up, it's called a CPU- bottleneck.

Also, every test (benchmark or game) is different, so there's no 'blanket' answer to a question like this no matter what gear you have (unless there's just huge disparity in the quality of the two parts).

Generally bottlenecking tends to occur when the FPS is high (due to the test being easy to run due to low image quality settings), and/or the test inherently requiring the CPU to do a lot of work per frame rendered (this is referred to cpu-dependency).

You certainly could occasionally see CPU bottlenecks with Tri-SLI 470's at a more 'normal' resolution ... but it would be pretty unlikely to occur with any regularity at 5040x1050 with a well-OC'd i7.

Edit:
BTW, regarding an earlier question of yours, TTBOMK nobody has tried to file down the pegs/screw housings. I'd like to, but I haven't really reckoned a way to do it and still make sure they all four end up exactly the same height. Might actually be easier to lap the backs of the bracket as opposed to the pegs themselves though. I'd think the pegs would tear up your sandpaper real quick.

damn ranger I was hoping that you would get down on a tree-way or 4way SLI and post some ridiculous Metro 2033 bench's. does the GTI not have enough 16x express lanes?

Haha of coarse no one would realistically use a 3-4 SLI for 24/7 use. It would be an easy bake oven (especially with fermi's). but since he has 4 cards as of the moment It would be cool to have some fun with them and see what sort of benchmarks a set up like that would merit. God damn the power draw would be ridiculous, you could jump a car with that amount of juice!

Sunday morning I came into my room and found my PC off which I find rather odd considering it's on 24/7.To find it not able to power on.
Check the cords all seem fine, switch outlet's nothing.
pull all but 1 stick of ram push power lights come on and than fire coming out of the fan vent on the pcb side of the graphics card pretty much wanted to cry.
All i have is a video from my iphone which goes dark when i see the fire cuz i dropped the phone i was expecting maybe my HX750 to be the culprit.

I was folding with it over night at 777 core 1777 memory voltage at 1.075 it had been folding like that stable fan @89-91%
