ya I wish I did as well. I love how they make them so easy to mod for those of us who don't want to use a dremel and a saw.

As a 465 it was running at .925mV. After unlocking to 470 using MSI Twin Frozr II bios card was running at .912mV! This one's definitely a keeper
nice volts

Very true. Lian Li pays attention to the little details, and I'm all about that. On top of that the all aluminum construction...I mean do I need to say more?

Thanks man, feel like I got really lucky. I'm going with the GT 240 as a dedicated PhysX GPU. So I'm thinking of selling my .925mV #0193 card to someone here, rather than returning it to MicroCenter.

ya I've been thinking about that as well. I bought a second GE like a 1 1/2 - 2 weeks ago and haven't had time to put it in. I swear tomorrow is the day damn it. I originally wanted to run sli with a hacked driver, but noticed that these cards with the coolers go just a little more than two slots. I won't have room for my sound card which I won't part with. So I will set it up just for benchmarks then find which card I like better and part with the other or maybe save for another build. then find a physics card that will fit.

You don't know how badly I want to just keep both of them and do an SLI setup, but money is an issue. Plus a GTX 470+GT 240 is already overkill for my needs.

I don't know how you have the patience to have the card sitting there for that long. Did you not have a system to test it on? I was so impatient with the card from ewiz that I popped open my Dad's i3 rig and plugged in the card just to flash it and check the voltage.

Good luck with your second card though. What # is it? You may just have a .912mV sitting there yourself.

No sorry man I didn't mean it like that. I definitely hear ya most people have lives to attend to and finding time for this hobby is difficult. It's sad that I waste so much time on this. I'm also going to finally get my True Cu lapped tomorrow then I can finally put my system together and not take it apart for a while.

I like that # though, can't wait to see what voltage it runs *fingers crossed*

I'm confused, what else would you need to buy for an SLI setup? Or is it that you need to get some money back from one of the two cards that you purchased?

Having the default VID drop down one strap (i.e. 12.5mV) is just what happens when you flash these cards with a 470 bios. They all do that. IOW it's not something that happened 'intelligently', like you actually now need less volts than you did before or anything. In fact with my cards, this drop in stock VID (along with the shaders and whatnot unlocking) made my cards unstable and I had to mod my bios to bump the default VID back up again.

This being said, .925V is a very nice VID to be starting out at. Mine are .975V stock. Some people's were well over 1V.

I just got #1816 in the mail, it was an open box item from Newegg and everything was still sealed(not sure if it is supposed to be like that since I never bought an open box item). I'm gonna try unlocking it pretty soon and I will post back with my results.
