I am able to pull out 825/1740 with 1.075 but i might turn down the core in order to achieve more on the memory. I might be pushing too hard on one side.
Whoa. Good memory! It is
I think my card has a high stock VID because I have a hard time getting anything less than 1.100V, so I just leave it.
But I don't have an opinion on what's better to overclock, however I do have a somewhat-educated guess. Except, I'm only like 85% sure on this: overclocking the core is superior to overclocking the memory, but I can't remember the specific reasons.
But hey, if 825/1740 is stable for you, then holy crap: stay with it!

It would be interesting to see what quality of 470 chips are being used in these >#2500 cards...wouldn't be surprised if they are just using fully functioning 470s now.
Somewhat moot? How do you figure? Even if they made 5,000, then it's still limited edition. That would mean only 5,000 people in this world would own one at any given time, and there are almost 7,000,000,000 (7 billion) people on this planet. Or let's say that they made 10,000! That's still limited edition!
