The maximum safe voltage is specified in the Original Post of this thread (but it has much more information in it than that), and it claims that it's 1.087V. However, some of us (like me and you) need 1.100V. I mean, I am currently using 1.100V, and I have been using that since August without any issues! I'm using the BIOS made by Grunion that has the maximum of 1.21V, and my clocks are 765/1530/1848. The memory clock of 1848 is the stock clock for this BIOS, and I'm not messing with it since that's already pretty good.
But unfortunately, it hasn't been determined yet whether or not using such a voltage 24/7 would reduce this card's life span. I mean, we can certainly speculate and say that anything over 1.087V will shorten the card's life, but then there are others who strongly believe that even something like 1.15V is safe as long as the temperature are kept fairly low (which I suppose would be like less than 70-80Â°C, but I really don't know). Plus, even if we speculate and say that exceeding 1.087V will shorten its life, we still don't know by how much.
