well as much as I love these cards, I just ordered that huge asus gtx580!
I just added a large pcie sound card to my system and had to move the cards close together, and one has been overheating (they're literally just about touching)...bad motherboard design!
will have these two for sale in the appropriate section in a few days

Congrats and enjoy. I have the itch to get something new but for no other reason than I want something new. I think ill use restraint and wait until the next series of cards comes out.

I still think these cards look awesome and preform well.

Post some benchies with your new cards, maybe that will get me to switch

will do!
I must admit, I also had the itch! I could of worked around this issue with higher fan speeds, different mobo, or something (performance is still GREAT)...but I haven't upgraded in ages!

You overclocked to 850mhz on the core with 1.025v?
is that ooct stable because I have a hard time believing that.
Are you core and shader linked that high?

Well believe it. Ive posted a vid of my third card doing it. I up it to 1.050 when in SLi just to make sure both cards are good. Yes I link the core and shaders. I like a higher core than mem clock.

I guess. Never heard of that program. I will say that games and test programs act different with oc'ing. If my cards fail then I dont care cause they work perfect while gaming. Couldn't care less if they dont pass a synthetic program.
