If I'm content with just the one GTX465>70's performance, I might just keep the second for selling down the road once all 2500 are bought up. But for now, I still have too much crap I need to get rid of, so 2 will have to do.

BlahBlahBlah, could you also include the links to the bios's you tried that didn't enable the full 1280 of memory? I know you tried like 3 of them if I'm not mistaken.

Also, for anyone concerned, I used the "stock" MSI GTX 470 bios from TechPowerup and it unlocked the full memory and settings are all at stock settings in GPU-Z. So if you don't want a "tweaked" bios, use that one. http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/7...80.100401.html

If you want a bit of a tweak, get the one that BlahBlahBlah used. His unlocks the full 1280 memory, and gives a tad bit of an overclock, without having to mess with MSI afterburner or similar.

Was thinking of using the MSI 470 bios found on techpowerup, will that work? Also, why did some people had issues with the flash not unlocking the 1280mb of ram, but instead ended up with 1024? I don't wanna make the same mistake.

Thanks for the advise.

I'm concerned that your PSU might not handle this. Most of the GTX 470's require 550w PSU. and a lot of the 465's require 550w also. Just a heads up.

I don't really know how I should picture this troll attempt. But it sounds funny the way mocha described it

BLASPHEMY!!!

You *must* play Stalker - Shadow of Chernobyl, and you must play it FIRST. Using the Complete 2K9 mod is highly rec'd as well.

If you didn't play it first, then that's probably why you think CoP is the only one you need to play. Playing either of the other two first ruins teh awesomeness that is playing SoC as your first Stalker, as it was meant to be done.

Hehe ... one of my 480's was already sold ... local pick-up, cash money on the barrelhead, gone out the door. Good thing I got it for so cheap, made it easy to let it go for a real good price/fast sale (took like 12 hours on the FS thread).

That can be done. And if you are on a budget obviously buying the first one will be cheaper than the newer one. Although according to Steam not by much (SoC is still $20).
