Hey Coolio, I lived in Salinas for seven years (97-04) and survived! I miss Gutierrez y Rico Drive-In a lot.

I'm up north of Sacramento now - harder to get good Mexican food.

around 15-16k maybe a little more.
Someone please post this. This is the only thing I haven't downloaded to prep for my card. I really have no idea what I'm looking at between them all.

I'm going to just use that GTX 470 that is in the Romanian unlocking article to start. Guess its just some generic Nvidia stock BIOS - maybe PoV brand?

You think Oroville is bad ... when I was a kid I lived in Quincy, just up the Feather River from you ... now that's a god-forsaken culturally-void place. When I was in grammar school, there was like a token ONE minority kid of each race (one black, one asian, one hispanic) in the entire school. Pretty as hell up there though, and fun enough when you're a little kid.

Used to drive through Salinas on my way back and forth from Cal Poly SLO ALL the time. Couldn't really see how anyone could miss living there, but perhaps there's some charms not readily apparent from the 101 ...

However, having good mexican food ... that's pretty easy to believe about Salinas

Yes, cool air blowing on the cards, up and out when it's hot, it works.

Refer to #6 in this thread for more info. You may need to use fan controllers to manage the amount of airflow you are getting in/out to make sure you have the pressure you want.

Thanks guys, rep all around!

The OP has a link to another thread containing multiple BIOS files. I've also linked NCspec's modified version of a 480 BIOS.

Well, I worked in Monterey so I got to see the prettier side of the hill everyday! Ended up living there for another four years (two blocks from the bay) before moving up here.

Jeffredo, do you have your card? If so, mind telling me that special little number on the top?

Not sure if you saw my post above but there is a link to multiple BIOS files in the OP.

Just to confirm, 465s/470s run on 257.xx drivers right? And those are SLI hackable?

Is the stock 470 bios from MSI recommended? http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/7...80.100401.html I'm not sure what bios I should use when I'll be flashing it.
