The Misfits - Page 194

Thread Starter
NLM dropped one yesterday, and got us to within 24k pnts of Shizzle Tang...great job, NLM!
We'd be closer, but looks like VW lost about 12k yesterday from his issue. But he's back on track to giving us his best again. k4 is....k4....steady steady steady!

CB and I both have bigadvs today. His already dropped early this AM for @56k pnts. Mine says about 77k pnts this evening (should be in the 9 pm or if not the 12 am update). So that's 133k, with VW and k4 that should be a 160k pnt. We're ALMOST there, MISFITS! Let's take the lead...and NOT relinquish it again! Several times we've taken the lead for a day and then dropped back (twice it was during days zodac didn't update, so we didn't even get any recognition of being in the lead). Not this time! ON for the Win, Misfits!

Oh yes. I should be a lot more steady at around 16k+ PPD because school is starting and i don't have time to play games.

Are you stable at where you are now? Had the system had stability issues since you pushed it to 4.2Ghz?
I haven't really had any issues, not that I'm pointing at the OC anyway - there's been a couple of lock-ups (but at least one was due to the case being knocked, it was fine afterwards) and it had a BSOD due to a hardware failure (sound card looks likely) last night at ~18:00 so I've lost about 14 hours of Folding and therefore a lot of bonus...

Otherwise it has been mainly due to the slightly flaky power issues - and I need to double-check that I've plugged the UPS the right way round, as I'm sure I had it down right, but when the leccy tripped the other day it shut straight down..albeit it was immediately after I'd added the UPS back into the line, so the battery might not have been optimal..

I've got a few hours at home today, as I've got an interphew with a company in town (Woking) where a friend works....it'd be a commute of around 8 minutes, depending on traffic - if there's a lot of traffic, then I'd have to wait and use the pelican crossing, rather than just crossing....

What do you have HFM set to calculate on.? Last frame, last three frames, all frames, or effective rate..? I've seen that effective rate seems to allow/include the time that it takes for the up/down-loading of the WU and is thereby more accurate....to within a few PPD...

When I first read that, I thought it was a comment about [not] being able to see a small German car...

I had it set to look at last 3 frames, and I thought the up/down times made up for PPD difference. Doesn't matter much anyway, its just 200-300 points ..

MISFITS! Checked yesterdays stats, we had 2 bigadvs drop for about 140k. Shizzle Tang only had 1 drop for <70k pnts, so we should have passed them yesterday. BBT dropped two for about 160k pnts...but I don't think that's enough for them to catch us.

When I finished mine yesterday, I got a 6900 which should be done tomorrow morning for 90k pnts! Gosh, I luv my 980X (oh, have I said that before?)! If I get on a roll I can put out a good 50k ppd with it through the EOM.

TWO more weeks in January, keep on folding to secure OUR FOURPEAT!

And zoooommm...MISFITS take the LEAD by 118k pnts! That's through yesterday, or course. Either ST or BBT could come back today (but I don't think so). Tomorrow will be make or break. I'll have 90k pnts and we should be able to extend our lead. We're back folding the way we know MISFITS can, and that's BAD NEWS for the other teams! Keep on foldin'!
