The Misfits - Page 275

Gina knows that I look (though, not sure whether she's aware I look so 'close' ) as there was a point early on where I explained my case...

We were walking up Leytonstone High Road (yes, in Leytonstone) and there was a blonde with a very considerable rack walking the other way... Obviously, I watched it her walk past, and G noticed, and said "You were looking at her t|t$, weren't you..!?!"

My response, "Yep!".

She started to make comments about how I shouldn't lie, as she...wait, I'd confirmed that I had...

What do you mean, yes...??!!

Well, I'm gonna look...why even try to deny it..?

Derp...

"Anyway, if I don't look...how can you believe me when I say you look beautiful..?"

WIN...!!

Anyway, I've dropped the 2684 WU this morning, and I've got ANOTHER one to follow it up with...!! :chucks:

Good line...I'll have to remember that one when (not IF) I need it in the future!

Ok, got my first bigadv...it's a 2692. I've got a 20:30 tpf, and right now it shows 94,460 pnts (which is more than I EVER got in Windows)...so far, WIN!

That's also with only running a 4.2Ghz overclock. After I get one or two bigadvs complete, I'll try to up it some more. Sure I can get to 96k pnts pretty easily. Not sure at this point how a 2692 compares to a 6900 or 6901...but I am thinking I'll do even better on those....

....oh Laundromatic....guess you're not going to get that bonus in I7 folding you were hoping for....

Edit: tpf is down to 19:54 and 95,554 points. Looking good so far, as long as there aren't any other issues. Up to just over 69k ppd.

Edit2: Okay, tpf went to 19:55 overnight, but stable and still over 95k pnts and almost 69k ppd.
A at least middling leap forward for MISFIT kind! Next step after I get this bigadv done is to mess around with the OC to get up in the 4.3 range I was at (at least) or maybe even higher. I dropped the multiplier and upped the blck and it seems stable at 4.2Ghz right now. I also need to find a reliable temperture program, as the ones I am using I'm not sure I trust. All in all, even though I lost about 1 bigadv worth of time (92k pnts), this will well be worth it long term. Still thinking about going full water cooling in May, when we take a break. Fold on, MISFITS!

Oh, I forgot to add the last part of that convo...where G said, "Okay, just don't make it so obvious in future.."

I used a similar line on my ex.....and she went right with it....................to the point of pointing out the hot chicks while I was driving.. I guess it did make it safer - as I wasn't being distracted looking all over the place myself, just having the pick of the [bra] pop[pers] pointed out for comparison...

Having said that, she was also bi and had a very considerable rack herself... (IIRC, something like 34DD/E when we met - and they got bigger.... )

MISFITS!!! .55M point lead on Laundromatic...with NLM and CB both having 1 more bigadv, and myself having 2, maybe 3...and only 4 days to go. Got it in the BAG, SIXTH TC in a row...great folding this month! Let's see if we can break 4M points (over 3.5M right now)...which would be the first time EVA!

Next month promises to be very tough...with L holding a bit of a inherent advantage in 3 of the 5 folding areas (I7, Fermi, and X6/2500k). One of the categories (with k4) is to our advantage, while NLM has been doing well against Lampen, but that could change.
Our biggest advantage has been dedication to folding and consistency, NOT being down for any length of time. That could work for us this month, but L could match us in that area next month (being as the following month we'll all be able to do our tweaks). It will be very tight and we NEED to start out well. Let's plan to really put the burst on the very first of the month and go from there! MISFITS for the WIN!

Actually, as of yesterday, it seems that I'm just over 14k ppd. ~14,378.7 ppd.

Hopefully my HAF X will come in before the first of the month. XD

Congrats guys for winning this month. Ill try to hack the F@H servers and delete points to make it look like it was a close race.
