NO PICS!...OR go post them on the Just Be Cause thread!

You doing ok, NLM? Everything....uh,,...come out alright?

Now, back on topic...tried some new RAM settings and my tpf on this 6903 is now 43:01 with a ppd of 93140 and total points of 278234. Getting there!

Added: Ok, when I stop messing with it and just let it fold, it seems to like the new timings a little better: 41% 42:56 tpf 93,107.9 ppd P6903 277600 points

I've got it on Last Frame only, so I know how it's doing right now (some of my frames were over 48 mins while I was messing with it).

Still a far cry from the 40:30 o 41:10 tpf that Grandpa_01 says I should be getting. I'm kinda frustrated here but I'll keep trying for a bit more. But a 2.5 to 1.5 minute drop...another 3-5% drop in tpf ...well, just seems like it's pie in the sky. Pretty happy with over 93k ppd though.

Though this is NOT a recommended way to lose weight...

Ok team, if you missed the post on the TC forum, as of 1 October, only 1 of the two I7 folders on a team can be doing hugeadvs. The other is restricted to bigadv. This doesn't apply to the X6/2500k category (keep'em coming, CB!). Hopefully, this will make it a bit more competitive next month, so everybody tune them up and get ready to FOLD FOR MISFITS IN OCTOBER! This SHOULD be our month...you check our OP...right in line with the theme for October...HALLOWEEN!

Think I have my Q9550 going about as fast as she can. Not a great OC'ing chip and takes 1.4v just to get 4.0. I did get a decent boost in PPD though after going from 3.9 to 4.08 and installing in ubuntu. Most wu's now give about 14-16k PPD as opposed to the 11-13k I was getting previously. It's also now a dedicated rig so all it's doing is folding 24/7. And yeah, Misfits definitely have to go for the win in October!

You're doing all you can, and that's all we can ask of you. If we can consistently get 12k ppd from you, it's not going to be your fault if we fall behind. Keep it folding, blazed_1!
How's it folding sstnt... is it going to finish up before end of month?

I finally got a big bigadv again... but sadly not a 6904... those things do 10k more ppd it seems.
Would be interesting to see how you do with them instead of 6903s. Have you ever had a 6904?

You are around 80k ppd on that 6904, I'm now almost to 88k ppd (1:02:15 tpf). Maybe you can jump me again.

Yeah, it's due to finish up tomorrow morning for 270k+ pnts (would have had a lot more except I'm been messing around with it). I've posted above how I've done (relatively) on 6903 and the previous 6904.
