So, finished up my 6903 and to my surprise what do I get next? That's right, another 6901... This will be 7 of them so far this month, will still have time for an 8th as well after this one finishes.

At least on a good note my folding rig has been stable with zero issues since she started folding again. Not sure why it started needing moar vcoar all of a sudden. I did read a post where someone said SB can have a burn in period of a month and after that they might need more voltage but I'm not sure how true that is.

Nah...you guys are so far ahead (700k pnts+), that we can't even see you anymore. What I meant by hide...wink.gif

MISFITS!!! We need a Cat 2 folder ASAP to replace Hacksword (blazed_1 can't do it, his system is having problems as well) in CAT 2. The top 5 competitors in that category
are running 1) I5 760, 2) Q9550 (must be major OC'd), 3) GTS450, 4) GTS450, and 5) I5 760. Know of anybody folding (well) on any of these and not currently in the TC,
let me know ASAP please! That's about 350k ppm or so we're missing out on.

I'm considering bringing my 275 out of WKS02 to put into my WORK_PC, think it qualifies for that slot...... :headscratch

I'm going for a meal with work tomorrow night, so I could fit it then, if that suits...

In (kinda) related news, Mrs NLM has said that I should just buy some new tubing, but I might see if I can talk her into getting a new pump too - as I'm still not convinced that the pump is up to much, given how slow the flow seems to be at the moment....even though it isn't pushing a full loop, so (as I think I said previously) it doesn't have the water in the loop 'falling' down some of the tubes to help push (or, using the water, pull) the water through the sections that run upwards...

Anyone have any suggestions as to what to go for, so far all I know is that the CPU block and rad should be able to be used, the connections will either need to be replaced or just get some more (the pumps I've seen don't appear to be pump-res-combo doofreys* like I've got currently in my RS360 loop) and I'd need to get a "T" whatjermeecallit* so I could drain it more easily in future... Bear in mind that I'm in England..

Not sure where to buy WC gear over there but I can give some suggestions. For tubing, Primochill is pretty good. If you want to go the cheap route for connections you can get 7/16 x 5/8 tubing and 1/2 barbs. The big barb + smaller tubing makes for a very tight seal (can be a pain to get on and off though). XSPC compression fittings aren't to expensive either and get the job done as well. For a drain something like this koolance drain fitting. It has 5 openings so you can configure it how you like and all you have to do to drain is twist the cap off.

As for the pump, I'd do the other stuff first and see what kind of temps you get before replacing it. They only need to push about 1 gallon a minute to keep everything cool.
