I'll keep it folding til Monday. We'll lose about 15-18k ppd probably for the 3 days though.

Yea. Well I had a nice lady friend stay over last night so I think ill survive. Haha.should have a different one tonight. God I love college.

Ok Misfits! Sunday evening and we are barely holding on to 2nd place....Full Auto continues to expand their lead. Need to work hard the rest of this month to close the distance for next month.

I moved to Ubuntu 12.04 and folded a couple of wus in 6.34. It seem to help a bit (go about 2-3 k more ppd)...but not enough. So I got my son to help and I uninstalled 6.34 and installed v7....and it Ain't helpin' yet! Only getting 80XX units and one CRUMMY 7808 that acted like a mini-bigadv...but came me less than smp points! Anyway....still working on it to see if I can get it up and running right. I'm about as far behind elchucko as MISFITS is behind Full Auto....we'd be RIGHT THERE if I was folding close to him. BUT that said, I am STILL in 2nd place, so nobody else has figured it out either.

VW....you GOTTA get up tomorrow, man! It is TOO HOT in this darn room! rolleyes.gif

Ill be getting it up and running in the am. I ordered the mounting bracket this morning. Not sure about what time it will arrive but I will get that installed as soon as it comes. This weekend has been a bit of a disaster. Lost power for a few hours today, about ten channels, and only internet on my phone.

yea ive had some rough times this weekend my comp jsut turned off a bunch of times... but it was power failure type issues so idk

You will need to run a custom kernel with 12.04 and V7.... Elchucko and I are both averaging 48-50K ppd on 80XX units (really crappy V7 unit) running a custom kernel. We've been tweaking and comparing kernels, trying to maximize ppd and he should have a guide up in the next few days.

What was your tpf on those 80XX units? CPU and memory speed?

Ah, great. I don't know that much about 12.04 as it is...much less a custom kernal. rolleyes.gif TPF was like 32.5 seconds. I'm running a 970 hexacore (12 threads) at 4.15Ghz, memory at 1700 mhz.

ive been thinking about that cause it happens alot in teh summer not so muchi n the winter tho. Im going to be looking into getting one for my rig next summer as this one is almost over.
