Anything is better than nothing, and the Cyberpower's are a bit cheaper. But I've always used Belkin or APC as I think they are better quality and I think the batteries might last a bit longer. But it's your money...and you can only get what you can afford. If money is an object and it's between a Cyberpower 1500w and an APC 1000w...well, for folding it would be nice to have something that could support your computer for a while in case you get a 10-15 minute outages. Remember, it's really sucking the watts while folding! ;-)
Also when you set it up, don't put anything in a powered plug except the computer itself. Your monitor, etc should all go into a surge protected plug. That way it will give max backup power to the computer. You can probably set the computer up to automatically power down when power gets low..but you'll need to connect the ups via USB or Cat5 to the computer.
Good luck...a UPS is just the thing for the TC. You don't want a power flux to shut your system down while you away for the weekend (or the week...like blazed_1) ;-)
