Ok, I know double post but I wanted this one to stand separate, MISFITS!

Post what equipment you are currently have to fold on and if you are folding on it what it's normal ppd would be.

Looking at the team to see if we've got the best fit for everyone. But let me know what it's true ppd is (if you won't be folding on it 24x7, or using it for other things), not what it's potential ppd is unless you would be willing to "donate" it full time to the cause.

Just trying to keep an eye on things to make sure we've got the best equipment in the right Categories. With the new change, does anyone have a SB-E Hex? Would you be willing to fold on it and how much? I fold full time on my 980X at 4.3Ghz and rarely use it for anything else. So I currently get about 40k ppd on it. A full time SB-E Hex would blow that out of the water...but they just made the change and I was 1st in I7-1 in December.

I will do up a format and post what I've got in a bit. Then use that format to let us know what you've got. Also, if you happen to change (get new equipment, get rid of old equipment) just make a quick post on the change. Make sure to include what you are currently folding on for the team.

Thanks, MISFITS! Back in DIv One...let's put the pedal to the metal! thumb.gif

SB-E averages 59K ppd on a 7808/09, which is one of the higher point and more consistent V7 units. You can use IB unless your i7-1 has a SB-E chip. We figured that allowing Gulftown + IB is almost comparable to SB-E + SB.

There are a few SB-E units to compare at the bottom of the spreadsheet...

http://www.overclock.net/t/1308319/a4-projects-ppd-database

Now if only sstnt would enter just a few of his better units............. rolleyes.gif

I am folding on GTX 580 @ 925Mhz good for ~35k ppd. I have a GTX 680 on its way... I just needed a good excuse to buy one and TC is good enough for me wink.gif
I will probably get the 680 next week and put it to the test and see what kind of clocks + ppd I can pull off with it. If it is worth switching over I can do that.
I also have a 650Ti which probably would fall under the nvidia slot as well so not really worth using for TC - but it gets ~20k ppd.

Other than that my CPUs are downclocked and running with HT turned off...

It should be worth it, from what I have seen 680s get ~43-46k PPD in HFM, which should be enough to 3 of the 14k WUs a day.

Exactly... and if anything happens to the units where the 580 is making more points again, I can switch things back biggrin.gif

I have my 2600k @ 4.5 getting around 34k PPD folding 24/7. I could also swap my 2500k @ 4.9 if need be. Not sure on the PPD of the 2500k, haven't folded on it since bigadv. Also have my Q9550 @ 4.0 which was getting around 18k PPD last time I folded on it. I can fold on any one of these 24/7 but of course would need time to set them up.

I know my 2600k sucks but once the tax return comes I may be taking care of that. biggrin.gif

Oh and that 650ti would go in wildcard k4m1k4z3.
