does any socket 478 works with celeron M cpu & worth it?

I got a free 1.3 celeron M cpu, wondering if any socket 478 mobo would work & would it be worth it to overclock it?

celeron M specs:


socket 478 1.3GHz90nmDothan12-14?32KB + 32KB1024KB 0KB100MHz / 400MHz13X1.2621MMX / SSE / SSE2

its not a 478pin the mobiles are actually 479pin. Aopen makes a 915g chipset skt. 479 board and asus makes an adapter for a select few of thier boards.

Yeah, you will need an ASUS P4P800 series board with the 479 adapter like this: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/CT-479
Or you will need a 479 board, made for 479 processors which usually cost $200 + (unless they are refurbished).
