Can't stand my PC.. Please help

I can't stand my PC. Its been over a year of the same BS day in and day out. No one ever has known what the problem is, they just keep suggesting I change different parts.. And I get the same problems over and over and over.

My pc is a AMD 3400+ DTR, DFI Nf3 250gb, 6600gt, FSP 350watt psu, G.skill 1gig 2-3-2-5 ram

I'v switched mobo's, i'v switched video cards, and i'v switched psu's. Also changed hard drives to 3 different ones, changed cd roms, taken out my lan card, and tried different ram.

Yet on a daily basis, my computer just pops up a blue screen out of no where and says "begining dump of physical memory" and it just sits there forever untill I reboot.. Then I reboot and it wont boot up into windows. It his the loading windows screen, and then flashes that blue dump to physical memory screen, but it just instalty reboots.. And does this forever..

I don't know what "fixes" this, but after a few hours of doing this, it just magically boots into windows.

I'v tried 3 diffetne hard drives (2 brand new!) I'v rma'ed my bored, Im on my second video card (upgraded from ti4600) MY first PSU was 12v@18A my new one is 12v1@18A 12v2@16A... I'v formated windows at LEAST 10 times over the last year. I'v swaped cd roms, even disconnected it.. STill the same bull ****

I spend just as much time trying to fix my PC as I do using it. Its gotten to the point where im gonna trade my friend back for my old pc that I gave him (1.4ghz p4 with ti4600) untill I can figure this out..

I just want to get this POS to work, at LEAST WORK! I don't evne care if it sucks in games, cause at this point I can't even run windows. I formated a week ago and today it wont boot up. It just crashed out of no where! Just talking on a instant messenger and BAM dumping physical memory and now it hasen't booted up in a lil over a hour..

If I don't get my problems solved within a few days I think imma just sell every peice of gear I have (except my hd's and vid card) and go back to my 1.4ghz p4 from 4 years ago =\\

I ran the one that was in my bios back in the day, (when I had that bios that is)

Also forgot to add this

My Main IDE cable, the second slot, will NOT show up in my bios if my computer is at the stock 2.2ghz clock.. It will only show up at 1.6ghz and under? So my storage drive that is a slave on the primary IDE, is only usable under 1.6ghz...

I'v tried everything from 800mhz (this is what it defaults to when I clear cmos) 2ghz, and 2.2ghz to boot up with. I get nothing. Tried fail safe defaults, and optimized defaults.

I got windows just starting to reinstall right now. Really pisses me off though cause I just installed windows a week ago, and yesterday I spent a lil over 3 hours on my day off setting windows up to be perfect.. (object docks, and stuff)

I always thought the problem was possibly a hard drive problem, but I recently just got a brand new hard drive (actually 2, 1 was DOA, and the other ticks like hell like some 90's hard drive.. Remind me never to buy maxtor again lol)

I hope it works after this windows reinstall.. But you know that still really "grinds my gears" as peter griffon would say

edit: I got another stick of 512memory I could try throwing in there also, forgot about that.. But I doubt that would make much of a difference as that was what I ran for the first 8 or so months of owning this pc, and still had problems with it

re-EDIT: Really the only thing it could be, is my processor.. Unless I happen to have 2 of the same bad parts.. (or a windows problem) Since the processor is the ONLY peice of gear that hasen't changed the whole time i'v had this pc =\\

re-re-re-re-edit: Sorry if I sound angry.. Its because I am. Gotta rebuild my dirt bikes engine, rebuild my crotch rockets carbs, and now a computer problem jumps up in my face

It seems software related but I'm not quite sure what it could be. Im assuming it does all of this with the defaults? You could try another windows install with a different cd and see if it is the problem. Once it does boot up try a cpu test benchmark to see if it is ubstable at all, like maybe sp2004 or ooct tests that only test the cpu. I wish i could be more help.

man i remember those days... it was ****ing annoying when you were just trying to talk to someone on aim and BAM bluescreen... u couldnt get back on for hours either

well that was my mobos problems, i did like u and tried everything else.

i got a L4VXA2 now and swiched out everything. still got old cpu and it wasnt the problem, even though ima upgraed later.

see if u can replace the motherboard.

mine was a easy 20 $ board becuase i dont have the windows disc and if i used a different chipset windows would spazz out. so this board is temporary till i build a new comp

Are you using a "True" XP SP2 disk or are you upgrading from no SP or from SP1?
If your upgrading try staying with no SP or SP1 if that is what the OS is originally.
