and i will be gaming on this rig and want to know if i get a dual core cpu. will i be able to see the difference from a 3700+ sd? im just not sure if there is a reason to really go dual core atm. please give me your input.
Asus A8N32
eVGA 7900GT

1) yes, the bios takes some getting use to though
2) no
3) Asus from my experience.

you won't notice a difference in games when it comes to a DC from a single core unless they're games that are patched or built to take advantage of multiple cores.

HardOCP stated definitively that the A8N32 is the best overclocker they have tested (and they have tested both boards exhaustively, something no one in this forum has done, myself included).

you might want to read this post I started regarding single/dual cores if you plan to use this system for gaming.

I currently have the Asus A8N32-SLI and im fond of it BUT one thing with the memory is that 4gigs is only usuable through 64bit windows. @ the most should be usuable is 3gigs (i could be wrong so dont quote me) but plus my onboard sound doesnt not work @ all. i bout to switch out my board for ABIT AN8-32sli and see how this go's AND this mobo supports 8 gigs of ram
