moving it from the bottom would be a not so good idea anyways. as it is, gravity fed is best for that pump.

haha, well having the pump in the open is a small pet peeve for me, as i find it the most unattractive part of the loop, in your case, i would place it in the 5.25" bay and move the res out a bit, but you can leave it where it is since its working for you.

I have designed a loop that is totally flat, meaning, no vertical tubing at any degree. Would this be more efficient than a gravity loop with a lower than normal powered pump?

gravity fed only has an advantage when you're filling your loop for the most part. it prevents your pump from running dry.

in one of the pics in the corners you can see the hooks which i bent and cut from a wire coat hanger. i drilled holes to the sides of the opening and the hooks are bolted. i have pics of the project on my phone but i do not have the flash drive to transfer them yet. it took all day yesterday and mid project i was thinking "it would have been better to spend $200+ for a decent case."

haha, yeah a new case would be nice, but modding it makes it one of a kind, i am looking to do a mod on my haf 932, but haven't come across anything to do yet.

Indeed. Pumps don't particularly like sucking air when they're designed to suck water
