Got some parts so far, first try on a custom water cooling.
you should dump that coolant and get distilled water / coil.

Im gonna have to give you a 6/10, the fill/drain port seems unnecessary as you could just pull the pump a bit out and disconnect. To me, its a bit of an eye sore.

Hey thanks I'm glad you liked it. I think this thread is more for real loops and not closed loop hack jobs though

Good idea not using dye 7/10 I like the t-line. I might go with a t-line myself and return the res I ordered. We'll see.

Here's my old build, I'm in the middle of re-doing it.
Im Getting new tubing (total of 18in being used for minimal length), getting rid of quick-disconnect connectors on the thermaltake unit, and new fans for rad, push/pull
Before watercooling, halfway, and with watercooling pictures are below

Mines not really a real loop either, its a modded, thermaltake kit. With your H50, could you add a 2nd radiator now?

I would've never guessed. I think it looks awesome but the first thing that came to mind is that your flow has to be pretty slow or your pump is over working itself. I read in the wc stickies that 1 90 degree elbow is supposed to be equivalent to 4ft of tubing. How is the flow? Either way I have to give you credit for such a creative build.

Yeah but I ended up gutting the motor and selling it to someone who wanted to use it as a block. I'll see if I can get a hold of him I'd like to see it being used as just a block and see if he'll post some pics up in here. The money went toward funding for my real wc loop

Well... haha... i have 6-90 degree elbows, lol, in my empty psu mod area, i have tubing in a cube that i though would look cool, but i couldn't really see, mad me sad. Cant really test flow, but my temps are good. I am getting rid of the elbows and tubing for about 18 inches of new tubing, so flow should increase alot and hopefully temps a few degrees. The only reason i have those elbows on the block is because the tubing i ordered was to big for the compression so i had to use some old tubing, I was a noob , and ordered 3/8in ID and 5/8in OD, when i needed 3/8in ID and 1/2in OD

Hi folks, first post here! As you can see I still need to make some adjustments. First of all I have to get some rubber between the pvc tubing coming off the rad and the holes i drilled in my case Next time i flush my set up will be doing that.

I also definitely need a new PSU with modular cabling lol

Aside from that, what do you think? Newer case? I'm quite confident that this one is going to last me for a few more builds before i end up buying a 690II Advanced (L)

@vodka3dg, I give you a 7/10, i noticed your rad set up is shroud>fan>rad, but for a shroud to do its job it needs to be fan>shroud>rad, if you do this your cooling efficiency will increase. Also this doesn't have to do with your watercooling, but why is a fan resting on top of your GPU.
