For those of you that think all cables are equal, you're in error. What you need to ask yourself is how good of a cable do I need to buy to fit my needs. If you try to use a cheap cable for a long run and retain enough bandwidth for full 1080p and full high resolution multi channel audio, you may be in for a surprise. I've personally had to return a cheaper HDMI cable for an 18 ft run because it wasn't capable of the required bandwidth that I needed. I'm not saying anything positive in regards to Monster Cable, I'm merely stating that there is a difference in cables. You may not see it in your setup with a short run and regular DD or DTS, but you very well could on a longer run with full 1080p combined with high resolution, multi channel audio.
