Why exactly is that a crappy mobo. The brand? I love my biostar, it oc's awesome and has tons of options to OC.

Thread Starter
Okay guys, yes my htt is set at 4, my ram dividers BEEN at 166, my cpu multiplier is at 11, FBS = 235, cpu voltage = 1.4, ram voltage = 2.7, spread spectrum is disabled, I also have this option but i dunno what it does "Enh94" or something close to that,

And I can get into windows and on my desktop for about 2 minutes, then a shutdown, and I get a blue screen with a bunch of text on it..

The only thing I could see since it was quick was "something*a bunch of numbers*.sys"

Then it restarts...

Any help?

Also, I have this option called "Ht width" and its set at 16/16 16/16 (other options= 16/16 8/8, 8/8 8/8"

The Th width options won't do any good if you change them. As I see it the mobo doesn't suit OCing. To test if it's a mobo limitation you can try these:
- drop htt to 3x
- drop the cpu multi to 8x
- drop ddr frequency to 133
This way you will have absolutely no bottleneck in OCing, and if it doesn't climb over 236 at these settings it's obvious the mobo can't support a clock higher than 236MHz.
On some mobos there is a setting to up the chipset voltage, wich gives stability to the mobo at higher htt speeds. If you have this option try to up the Vchipset by around 0.1V, this could give you some stability.

Well, i got my FSB up to 265 @ one point with 11x multi (not exactly prime stable) but you have to drop your HT WAY DOWN. And when i say way down, i mean 1x. Actually, that works well, since it makes your fsb run closer to 1000.

If you run it at 250 FSB with 11x multi, and 1x HTT you'll hit 1000fsb on the nose.
