Awesome game (Demo), but they need to work on vehicle deformation. Something about 60mph+ into a wall and just the bumper and hood get damaged annoys me. Swimming is needed too.

Yup but in IV you can shoot as the driver. I hope they fix that, else free roam will get hard.

I've died hitting curbs with the car lol...I think you die WAY too easily in this game, I mean ya its supposed to be realistic but ultra realism isn't always fun =/...when you're in a car chase and your car gets totaled I dont want to step out of my car and die instantly from a single shot from a cop...thats not fun

Agreed. I mean it's cool... But I like driving fast in video games, and I've always done it.

In this game I can't go fast at all without hearing "IN PURSUIT OF A SPEEDING SUSPECT" every damn block.

One of the reasons I am getting this on a PC is that trainers can fix this with a click of the button.

As expected the 2K Games developers have voiced their opinion about the mods, hacks and cheats that people are making for the demo version of Mafia 2. They say they do not want people dissecting their work that they spent so much time on.

"The Decision of Modding comes down to the Company, while there are several companies that encourage modding, not every company wants their game to be messed with.True, mods could extend and enhance the gameplay of the game, but you need to see it from the dev's perspective. They've worked on this game for years, lots of hard work has gone into the game and for whatever reason they choose, they might not want people to be dissecting their game.Whatever the reason, you should respect their decision, even if you don't like it."

"This is an official forum, so there are going to be a couple rules that you'll need to adhere to. This might change in the future, but particularly since the game isn't out yet, please don't talk about modding the demo or the game here. Please respect their work, and our forum rules."

Seems as though all hope for some serious conversion mods down the road are slim to none; oh well. I'm deciding if I'm going to still buy this game now.

Saw this on MMW, the decision is up to the modders though, sorry 2K. : )

Being priced at 50, like any game should be, I was thinking about buying it too. Depending on how lame they get I may not either.

I put a NVIDIA 9600gt in my rig as a dedicated physx card to assist my ATi 5850, and now I am getting over double the average framerates so i can run physx on high easily along with everything else! Love ati! so if you are an ati user, you can slap in a cheap nvidia card if you have a lot of physx games.

the game should have a 4x AA option... 2x isnt enough
