Is there a way to turn off the button prompts on the screen? Like "L to turn off speed limiter", "F to get out", and the fist fighting buttons.

I tried turning off hint text (or help text, don't recall the exact wording) in the general options but it didn't seem to change anything.

Okay...I just "beat" the game and is that seriously the end of the game?

So what's the low-down? Is this game worth £30 of my hard earned money?

It's one of the best GTA style games I've ever played, as well as story, too. I love this game, it gets a 9/10 from me. It would get a 10/10 if you were actually able to FREELY just roam around. You can actually roam around, but you have to do it in between missions.

I'd be pretty surprised if it doesn't get GOTY.

They really need to patch this game As I've seen around this forum (and others) that many people are experiencing huge lag after a few hours play like there's a memory leak Keeps happening to me it's really annoying especially when you're during a mission.

Does anyone else have this bug, it's only started since the 50's when I come out of the apartment and get into a car or go to the garage I get a "Mafia II has stop responding" error and I have to close the game. It's not so bad as the game is always saved before hand as it's only when I come out of the apartment but it's getting annoying having to restart my game all the time!

yeah the ending is lame

Yeah the ending felt really abrupt. Like they left out a cutscene or something. But overall I enjoyed the game. Going to start playing through again on hard.

Yeah I'm working through Medium again right now and I'm trying to get all the Playboy issues and then I'll try hard.
