Overclock on a AMD 3200+ - Page 3

You have something wrong if that is all you are getting out of that cpu, can you post your settings if possible, you should be able to get 2500 mhz++. Set ya ram on a divider of 133 to keep it out of the way for now. Put ya vcore up just a little, if it is % if so maybe 5%-6.6%. Put ya HT ratio at 3x, ya fsb (htt) at 240, cpu multi at 10x. Boot it up, if it runs then you can try for 250 fsb to get 2500mhz.

See how you go......

Allright mate, n0w you can see my full system spec

I just tryed run 3dmark05 with the FSB set to 250, so i.e i had my CPu running on 2500Mhz. Although i got a freezup right about 10 seconds in the demo. And i had to force shut down my PC.

If you wounder i have my HT set at X3, the Mem frequnez at 133 and the CPU voltage at 9.9% over aka 1.540v And the PCIE clock at default 100. The farest i have manage to is 2420Mhz and i cant go higher. Is there something i have missed?

Here is screens of my CPu-z:

Thanks in advance...
Btw sorry for my bad english

A 4x should safely allow up to 260MHz providing a 1040MHz HTT, most MBs can do up to about 1080 and some even higher but it's of no value being the bus is never saturated at those speeds.
If your BIOS has the options, a bump in the N Bridge or memory controler may afford better stability.
BTW, Venice are known for being a bit power hungry so that may in part be the limiting factor.

So you are saying that i should increase the Voltage of the Nf4 Bridge and for the Memory? to stabilize the whole thing? If yes, How much should i increase on each?

Thank you

Upping them 1 or 2 tenths may add stability! Some get that result, some get no improvment, go figure.

allright. i will try that... By the way can you please speak more easy english? becuz many of your slang terms are hard for me to understand like, "a bump in" and "tenths"
So you mean that i should up them with 10 or 20? I guess "tenths" means 10? like ten, one ten many tenths 1 tenth = 10 and two tenths = 20, am i right?

Thx for your time man...
