Guess I never really introduced myself to the rest of the team.
I'm Jason (jayce). Live in n.e. Kansas. I've been running boinc, or at least SETI since I heard about it on the Art Bell show, in 2001. Seemed like a cool idea. I had to stop for a while, killed one proc (1100 thunderbird) when the cpu fan died, and then running cuda on my 8800's was cooking my rig and shooting my proc temps up to 75c+. Got some newer gpu's and newer proc/watercooler this summer. 2 days after I got them in, Gamer posts that DistRTgen is givin out 20K points per wu! So we racked up a couple mil in a day! But was still running too hot. So, now I'm running underclocked
at 900/2100 on the 560ti's. This helps keep the temps fairly low, but allows for alot of work. Today, I finally got all of my projects and credits attached under one name, so it should be easier to keep an eye on the stats.
Being laid off, I have quite a bit of free time at the moment. I'm patiently waiting for the next big pipeline project to start, and I'll be back out on the road working. I May try to build a lan syle rig to take with me so I can crunch with the motels
