64-bit HL2 vs 32-bit HL2

I was wondering what the benefits of running HL2 in 64-bit mode are over running it in 32-bit mode. I know the theoretical benefits, but what are the really benefits?

just a clearer picture...if they made CS:S 64 bit, I might dual boot lol. yeah right...64 bit blows as of now.

I think 64-bit Half-Life sucks. The FPS are lower, i'll get random skips out of nowhere. It's annoying. 32bit fixed all those problems.

I noticed that too, but it went away affter I played for a while, so I assumed it had not all gotten loaded into RAM yet.
