Best 120mm fan for CPU Cooler for static pressure/CFM? - Page 2

Another +1 for the Scythe GT 1850rpm fan.

Don't get R4's. Since they're sleeve bearing with the way you've oriented your cooler they'll die quicker than they're supposed to.

While I love Gentle Typhoons, a single San Ace 9G1212H1011 is the best fan for cfm, static pressure and noise - it seems to hit the sweet spot. Cost is about the same as for two GT's, with better performance (see study 1. in my sig).

--Off-topic I bought some more RAM for a total of 8GB ..same type as I have now and also got the Corsair 850W HX to replace the one in sig..I hate all those damn wires.
The fans that come with the 932 arent the R4's we are talking about. The one we are talking about are the ones with clear blades.

I am using some R4's in my push-pull setup and they are awesome :] especially since i got them on sale at microcenter for 5 bucks.

But if you really want to know what fans are good for putting on heatsinks, take a look through this thread :]

Yes, I know that..but their still made by Coolermaster. As I said, I will not buy ANY Coolermaster fans as they lie about their fan ratings.

Coupled with the fact that my lights inside the case are blue and the R4 blue colored ones suffer even more than the other R4s, which personally I find insulting.

But as already stated I can't use Sleeve bearing fans with my setup.
