Here are my oblivion Screens with the setup below @ 1280x1024 with HDR on Normally I stay around 50-60 fps but never have dropped below 30 under any situation, it seems to do better with HDR off and 4x AA.

At least here is a demo of what the GeForce 6600 GT Overclocked can do. Heh, I can't wait to upgrade. In anycase...these screenshots are 1152x864 with all shadows, HDR, "mostly" high settings throughout, running at around 5 FPS. NVIDIA 84.25 drivers. Normally, I have all the settings similiar during my normal gaming: All shadows off execept tree's, normal water quality, medium texture size. <-- 10-20fps in forest areas and 35fps in towns/city.

Man, I STILL havn't leveled up. I'm about 90% to level 2 though. I've been doing mini quest's like mad though, none of the real big ones though. It's a fun game, I just don't know how you guys are at like level 10 ion "six hours" like you've been saying.

Yah well Krunk_Kracker you need to understand the way you gain level in Elders Scroll, in most RPG game you have "experience" you aquire to gain level, in Elders Scroll Oblivion its not like that it work, you gain a level up once you increased any combination of major skill by a total of 10.

You can kill as many millions of ennemies, complete quest, or anything else as you want but if you dont increase the skills you choosed as "Major Skill" during character creation, you'll never get your level up! You could complete the whole game at Level one (no, really you couldnt since they are some ennemies who have pre-determinate level but if they warent there you could). So if you want to level up, use your major skills, if you choosed Blades, dont use blunt weapon, even if you get 100 skill level in Blunt you wont get your level up, use your blade, if you have Illusion, use illusion spells etc.etc.

The reason why some people are at the same place where you are with high level is proably because they choosed "Acrobatic" or "Athletic" or "Armorer" as their major skill and keep using them by running, jumping and repairing every single thing they see, powerleveling what... But this is a really bad idea since ennemies gain level in same time as you do and if you dont train the rest of your skills, you'll get rape by anything, even if you have 5 time the HP you had at level one, if you cant use any magic/weapon you'll still die, no mather how high you jump or how well your armor is You also gain Attribute point depending of what you did, so if you used a lot of Destruction magic, which have Willpower as the main attribute, you'll most likely get a Willpower increase at level up... that why its alway a good idea to choose Majors Skill who are more appropriate for your own class (magic, warrior, stealth) so that you gain attribute point that are actually usefull for your own type of gameplay (lets face it... gaining Inteligence for a big bulky berseker wont help him a lot )
