3200+ @ 3ghz or .....

Which should I see better gains with:

1. 3.0ghz with ram running at 300mhz.

2. 3.11ghz with ram running at 259mhz.

Timings and voltage are the same. SuperPi hundredths of differences. Which would you choose?

I'd go with 3 Ghz because it's a round number...

I'd go with the 3.0Ghz w/ RAM at 300Mhz because 3.11Ghz isn't really that much faster to have your RAM drop that much. I don't think there will be a performance gain with the 3.11Ghz.

If my board would allow more than 1.55 Vcore, I think it would go farther.

Hmmm... what are the RAM's timings @ the 259? I would think TCCD would run higher in the second settings, or closer to the 1st settingd speeds!

Are you losing stability with the RAM in the 2nd settings?
I just wonder why you have to drop it's speed so far down fron the 1st settings speed.
If so, have you tried a 2T for stability to get the speed back?

It's b/c my mobo doesn't offer many Divider options like DFI's. It's either 400mhz or 333mhz. That's why there is such a big drop off.
