Just Be Cause - Page 286

I had a similar problem, I replaced my motherboard, cpu, ram and lastly my power supply. My PSU seemed to be the issue for stable OC's. I couldn't even run things at stock clocks.

That actually makes a lot of sense. When I was using ONE of those cards on my main rig, I had a half decent 650 watt power supply. Now it's using a Rosewill 500 watt out of necessity. It might not be able to put out enough consistent voltage to keep up.

Ran my systems though Phaedrus's PSU calculator.
i7 960 @ 4ghz + HD69(70) OC'ed, etc. - 525w (up to 630w with F@H checked, though)
Athlon 64 X2 stock + 2x GTS250 (stock or OC'ed), etc. (F@H) - 600w (500w without F@H checked)

Oh, I shut mine down to swap power supplies around then got busy with miscellaneous chores. I need to keep a certain SOMEONE off of Battlefield 3 long enough to do it. x3 I'll run them tonight though.

I had to back off my OC to see if I BSOD less. The VM 1) isn't getting any bigadv units, and 2) ain't stable enough even if it got one.
