1. Welcome to OCN.

2. This question is in the wrong section, it should have been asked in the computer peripherals section here : http://www.overclock.net/computer-peripherals/

3. I do not own the 3.5G deathadder but people did complain about it jittering on cloth mouse pads just like the abyssus does. But since the deathadder has since had various firmware updates it seems the problem has been fixed. Again I cant guarantee anything though because I don't have the 3.5G version to test.

Razer will rarely admit faults, I was shocked to see them mention the z-axis problem with their laser mice. If you are interested in a new deathadder your best bet is to snag one off amazon and test it out. If it jitters then send it back as defective for a full refund.

Ramla777 had no problems with the 3.5G and he would be intelligent enough to notice the problem if it did exist. http://www.youtube.com/user/Ramla777.../0/xE1ulpki6cM

I have the DeathAdder on a "cloth" mouse pad from like 1999 and it works fine.

Confessed, are you sure you're talking about the 3.5G version of the DeathAdder, and not the old 3G version?
