ummm both front fans do intake

the fans should push pull toward the back end

no point in having it point upward

have the airflow going in this direction

back side of case <-<-<- front side of case

Okay thanks I just wanted to make sure. That was what I was most likely going to do.
Edit: Another question: Which paint is best for painting the case black? Should I go with spray paint, or actually get some other good paint? What else would I need? I haven't really painted much...ever...

Another update: Went with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817371021 as the PSU, $10 more and it's semi-modular and I've heard a lot more reliable

Another update -

5770 came in yesterday, found it to be DOA so I get to dance with the RMA process. If it's not back before I put everything else together, I'll be using the current crap video card I have until then.

Painting the 300 this weekend on the inside, and possibly start putting some components in, but likely not until the weekend after. Also did a quick stealth job on the dvd drive for the case.

Still waiting on the RMA for the video card, and the mobo to actually come in - UPS says they never got it from EVGA, and EVGA said they gave it...so it's somewhere. EVGA said they can't do a missing package research until two weeks, which is tomorrow night. Called them anyways, they're looking into UPS, so within the week it'll either just show up in ups's system or they'll deem it lost and i'll have another board sent over.

Finally got the board in, no pics yet. I've screwd up one of the fans, by installing it backwards. Besides that though, I'm testing out right now Prime on stock settings, running cores around 50-55C, which I think is very good for Prime95 on Blend Test.

Edit:

Max Temps: 62/59/61/58 so far @ 30 mins of Prime

Another update - Was able to get stable at 3.94 (188x 21) @ 1.25V, however, whenever I up the voltage beyond that, my temp sensors spazz out - realtemp and speedfan both will not open up. Can't figure out why, kind of dissappointing right now that I can't get it to 4Ghz. Temps are fine though, @ 3.9 I'm maxxing out at 68/67/65/63 during tests @ 3.9
