FEAR joystick question

hey guys im an old school pc gamer like old as in tribes quake unreal befor they really had good gamepads ive since been a console player and to me the xbox and 360 controllers are the purest form of enjoyment as far as a first person shooter goes now that i have a pc worth running some newer games i decided to check out fear and i have to say im really impressed big time so my question is do they make a stick like the 360 or xbox that works the same way it does on the xbox .. i do know the 360 wired controllers work on the pc but i only have wireless i do have an adapter for the regular xbox controller but dont really wanna dig it out if both analog sticks wont work the way i think they should.. know what i mean.. thanks

FEAR is alot better played VIA keyboard and mouse IMO alot easier plus i didnt know that you could use a joystick with FEAR..but thats just me.

To me it sounds like you are willing to spend the money for a new controller. So just get the XBox 360 wired controller. It's exactly what you want and it works pretty well. I use it myself when I play racing games or platformer type games and it does the job just fine.

yes i know it works well for racers and platforms but im talking fps both sticks have to work like for unreal you can only use one stick and still have to use the damn keyboard thats why i was wondering if anyone knows.. i will note that oblivion has both compatible ...



oh and to the guy that says keyboard in mouse is best.. well yea... some of us live in a fantasy world to each their own

Well because im guessing FEAR isnt out on Xbox and that you have it on pc FEAR i think that mous and keyboard would serve you better..but you can get XBOX style controllers for the pc from alot of pc shops.

i guess no one really understands my question so here let me rephrase is.. with the game FEAR can i use a DUAL ANALOG joystick and have one analong be the aim (mouse) and the other one work as the movement hence the the awse set up.. and be fluid with both of em
