Seriously, every RAM kit overclocks differently whether same IC's or not - and AFAIK G.Skill uses various different IC's for the ECO's so every kit should overclock differently. Your results may be different from someone else's; this is why I always tell people to lower timings one at a time
Also, these RAM sticks don't run very hot at all even with the increased 1.6V (unfortunately since 1.6V is the minimum voltage on my motherboard I'm pretty much forced to run that much through them); this RAM scales well until it reaches 1.55-1.6v depending on the kit. Some kits will scale well up to 1.65v, but I wouldn't raise the voltage above 1.65. Since I have good case cooling & even a spot cool pointed at the RAM I'm not worried about running this voltage through them. If you'd limit your G.Skill ECO OC'ing to, say, 1.5v, that's up to you I guess
