I like to take a piece of lets say 3/4 neoprene and wrap around the evap head collar from hold down plate to the bottom of collar then I take a piece of armaflex tape to wrap around the neoprene on the collar to make it nice and snug . When you mount the evap to mb it will now also make a nice seal to your mb insulation . What I do for the memory is build up two or three sheets of neoprene and then again I take armaflex tape and seal the gap of the sheets and also put the armaflex tape half to mb and overlapping the memory so again a nice air tight seal . Here is a pic . After thats done I cut more neoprene from about 3/4 size sheet and cut for fit and stuff all around the collar after the avap is mounted and make snug from top hold down plate to mb for added protection . I also take more armaflex tape and place top of mb edges over lapping bottom of mb edge . You can see this looking at my top antec 1200 fan area and look at mb there . When a say collar btw its under the hold down plate , sure you know .Edited by pcnazz - 8/13/10 at 7:29am
