1. Dr.Watson

2. Telnet is a command line remote desktop. Lets you execute commands on a server or computer through port 23.

3. Kernel files are the heart of the oparating system. Basically its what connects the hardware to the software.

4. I beilive you mean lusrmgr. That is a snap in to manage users and groups.

5. what the guy below said..

6. Remote desktop is basically a connection to another machine which allows you to take full contorl of it. Such as VNC, Remote administrator.

7. System key is something used for extra encryption. Not to sure about it.

8. Winchat can be used inside a Local Area Connection. Its basicaly an instant messaging program but relies on host name and ip address, and only way to do that is within a local area network. To use it, run the winchat.exe. You will not find this program usefull in any way.

Have Fun Reading

What is Dr. Watson?

Dr. Watson is a software utility included with Microsoft Windows that is used to help detect, decode and log errors that are encountered while windows or windows programs are running. [Read the FAQ in my signature]

What is Microsoft Telnet?

Telnet offers users the capability of running programs remotely and facilitates remote administration. Telnet is available for practically all operating systems and eases integration in heterogeneous networking environments.

What do all those kernel files do?

In computer science, the kernel is the fundamental part of an operating system. It is a piece of software responsible for providing secure access to the machine's hardware to various computer programs. Since there are many programs, and access to the hardware is limited, the kernel is also responsible for deciding when and how long a program should be able to make use of a piece of hardware, which is called multiplexing. ... // Explination: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kernel_(computer)

What is LUSMSGR? (Did you mean LUSRMGR?)

Local Users and Groups manager

What is mobsync?

mobsync.exe is a process associated with Internet Explorer and is used to synchronize the offline pages you have chosen to be stored locally with the matching online pages.

What is Remote Desktop Connection?

Actually exactly how it sounds, you can remotely (from another location) connect to someone elses pc and use it as your own (only restrains would be network speeds of the two participants and hardware compatability issues; for example you can't play games on a remote desktop connection (too much bandwidth))// Explination: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/art...ws-XP-Pro.html

What is System Key?

The Windows NT Server 4.0 System Key (Syskey.exe) provides the capability to use strong encryption techniques to increase protection of account password information stored in the registry by the Security Account Manager (SAM). (is that what you were talking about?) // Explination: http://support.microsoft.com/default...143475&sd=tech

What is WinChat and how do you use it?
WinChat For .NET is a simple peer-to-peer chatting program that functions very similarly to the WinChat program provided by Windows 2000. It provides all the functionalities that the original WinChat program provides. WinChat For. NETs GUI (Graphical User Interface) is a bit different than the original one simply because of personal taste. // Explination: http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/Network...ForNETPL02.asp
