Also got rid of my mammoth AX1200 and picked up a little seasonic 650. Everything should be here well in time for the CC. Just a little update from my end, I was really in need of the extra cash for wedding invitations and such.
Grats on the wedding! Mine is the 19th of this month. Its why I have not been posting a lot recently. I love my future wife but in all honesty I can't wait until this wedding is over.
Daniel. Look into Wilton.com for invitations
. We spent $60 on 150 Invitation, envelopes, rsvp and rsvp return envelopes. Then you use the Wilton Print Wizard
to get the type and print using your own printer. When we were looking at Invitations from an actual printer they wanted $400 for everything we got from Wilton for $60. Very professional looking too!
RSVP Card and Envelope with Invitation Envelope:
We have a butterfly theme for our wedding so she purchased some inexpensive Silk Butterflies and glued them to the Invitations. I will get better pictures of that tomorrow for you if you would like. I figured I would throw this money saving tip out there for you. Party City has a lot of wedding stuff too! Wilton also carries Ring bearer pillows, garters and a lot of other things too. If you need help finding various things let me know. I have spent weeks on so many sites I can help you find stuff that looks awesome but costs so little. Its the only way we have a $10,000 wedding for less than $5000. Don't be afraid of second hand things like Vases from center pieces. Check Craigslist!!!
We got 75 Vases of various sizes for $50. Also, look into fake flowers instead of real ones. They last longer. We did all the girls bouquets and guys bouttnieers for about $100.
Like I said. If you need help with finding stuff let me know! I will do my best to save you money!Edited by Erick Silver - 5/6/12 at 2:02am
